LIGHT OF MY LIFE, FIRE OF MY LOINS
Talk About Monday, December 16, 2013 at 8:07 PM

1: Talk about the first time you watched your favorite movie

My favorite movie would have to be Wicker Park. The memory of the first time I watched this is already a bit hazy to me, but I can remember how I felt after watching it. I was lost... In a good way, if that was even possible. The Scientist played in the end, so that was the first Coldplay song I every truly loved. Everything in that movie unfolded perfectly, connected well together, and Josh Hartnett and Rose Byrne were sensational. They were unreal. I could say that to this day, nothing pierced me yet as much as this movie has.

2: Talk about your first kiss

It was... Awkward and was just an almost kiss.

3: Talk about the person you had the most intense romantic feelings for

It would have to be no other than my boyfriend of two years, Jed Christian Cruz, so let's change that had to have. Words are never enough to describe him. He is sublime. He knows me so well, and we have a very strong connection. He's one of a kind. I am confident I already found the person for me.

4: Talk about the thing you regret most so far

This would be not spending enough time with my Amang.

5: Talk about the best birthday you've had.

The best birthday I've had would probably be my first birthday. The family was complete, it was a feast... Even people from the baranggay were invited. Even if I had no way of remembering most of the details, there were lots of pictures and looking at them again and again, it was a time when things were so... Perfect and uncomplicated.

6: Talk about the worst birthday you've had.

I'd say my 18th birthday. I know it's supposed to be the best but it's a time that I don't want to go back to.

7: Talk about your biggest insecurity.

It's probably that I'm just average in almost everything.

8: Talk about the thing you are most proud of.

My writing and my music.

9: Talk about little things on your body that you like the most.

I like my eyes and that peculiar curve in my lips.

10: Talk about the biggest fight you've ever had.

It was with my dad and my half-siblings. This may sound ridiculous, but I'm thankful it happened. I got to know what kind of person my father truly is; an utter disappointment.

11: Talk about the best dream you've ever had.

When Amang visited me alive and well.

12: Talk about the worst dream you've ever had.

When I murdered my family.

13: Talk about the first time you had sex/how you imagine your first time.

:)

14: Talk about a vacation.

Three ideal vacations are that with my family (as in my whole family) somewhere tropical and fun, Jed to the Harry Potter World in London and my friends somewhere I ought to figure out.

15: Talk about the time you were most content in life.

I honestly don't remember a time in which I was the most content in life. Maybe in my younger years, when I had much less worries and knew much less about life.

16: Talk about the best party you've ever been to.

Oh, I don't know. I don't go to a lot of parties.

17: Talk about someone you want to be friends with.

I want to be friends with this particular girl I met in Miriam College. She kept to herself, but she opens up to people she finds interesting. I was one of those lucky few, for a while, until she somehow shut me out, too.

18: Talk about something that happened in elementary school.

Nothing of significance happened in elementary school, except that I graduated with honors.

19: Talk about something that happened in middle school.

We don't have middle school here.

20: Talk about something that happened in high school.

High school was not my life's turning point. I expected a lot out of high school, because I was told that it's the best scholastic phase. In high school though, I found my niche, which are music and writing, which I continue to hone until now, and in which fields I excel in.

21: Talk about a time you had to turn someone down.

This would probably be before my first year in college. He liked me ever since we were in sixth grade, but I was with someone then, so I had to turn him down. When I was already single, he was the one who had a girlfriend. The timing was never right for us.

22: Talk about your worst fear.

My worst fear is to lose any of my loved ones. It's just something you never move on from.

23: Talk about a time someone turned you down.

I don't think I was ever turned down, since the girls never do the asking.

24: Talk about something someone told you that meant a lot.

A friend once told me that maybe the reason why I think I'm never enough for anyone, is because I'm never enough for myself in the first place. I always look back to those words when I feel down.

25: Talk about an ex-best friend.

I don't think we were ever genuinely friends. Maybe a little, but I think our friendship is forced. Our personalities were just too different. Our differences to not complement each other. I let envy get the best of me, too. I miss her sometimes, though.

26: Talk about things you do when you're sick.

Depends what my sickness is, but usually it's asthma... I nebulize and try to eat right.

27: Talk about your favorite part of someone else's body.

I love Jed's arms. They're tender and smooth and makes me feel safe.

28: Talk about your fetishes.

Slender fingers, and Jed's mole, the one near his eye. I find it very attractive for some reason.

29: Talk about what turns you on.

Aggressive foreplay.

30: Talk about what turns you off.

Foolishness.

31: Talk about what you think death is like.

I think death is what gives value to life. If everyone is immortal, do you think it's necessary for us to see life's purpose if we had all the time in our hands?

That's what death is to me, but of what it's like... I don't know. It depends what kind of death. Some people are alive but dead inside.

32: Talk about a place you remember from your childhood.

I love my home in Sobol, San Fabian, Pangasinan too much. It's where my childhood took place, and there is so much to explore in that home.

33: Talk about what you do when you are sad.

I listen to Coldplay. Sometimes ice cream or chocolate or chocolate ice cream helps.

34: Talk about the worst physical pain you've endured.

I had a sprain before and I had therapy sessions to speed up the healing. Worst thing ever.

35: Talk about things you wish you could stop doing.

Procrastinate.

36: Talk about your guilty pleasures.

I don't have guilty pleasures. I take pride in my pleasures.

37: Talk about someone you thought you were in love with.

She was a stranger.

38: Talk about songs that remind you of certain people.

On top of my head, Dance with my Father reminds me of Amang.

39: Talk about things you wish you'd known earlier.

I wish I knew that worrying too much doesn't change the outcome of most things.

40: Talk about the end of something in your life.

The first time I discovered where I really came from, I knew nothing would be the same anymore. I knew it's that point in time that I stopped being a child. If I wanted to keep up with life, I had to mature.
